The menu is easier and more logical. However, if you are familiar with the buttons, it is much faster. The 62er is more suitable for intensive users and professionals as well as for users who need an easily readable display at any time. While Garmin retained the characteristics of a real workhorse connection possibility of an external antenna and next to the USB port also a serial connection was added to the GPSmap 62, especially in terms of computer performance and memory.
